Dear friends who care about Liberty Sculpture Park:
Construction of the "CCP Virus" sculpture started on October 26, 2020 and completed on June 4, 2021.
On the night of July 17, 2021, the sculpture was destroyed. Behind the sculpture, a square opening was cut with a tool, and a virus strain fell on the ground. There are also goggles, steel ropes and other items scattered around.
At around 18:00 on July 23, 2021, the sculpture was burned by gangsters. The original sculpture, which is 5 meters high, only has a pedestal and a virus strain that has not been completely burned.
On the land of the United States, open flames were being fought, and the sculptures were blatantly set on fire. It explains the madness and brutality of the CCP and its forces, and also shows us the fear of doomsday of an unpopular regime.
After the sculpture was destroyed, we have received the attention and donation support from friends all over the world, and we sincerely thank you.

This is the worst act of vandalism that the Liberty Sculpture Park has suffered since its establishment. This is not the first time we have encountered difficulties, nor is it a reason to shrink back.
